Join Summer and Kat Gordon on Tuesday, December 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM for an inspiring winter solstice gathering. Together, we will honor the seasonal transition with a traditional cacao ceremony, a soothing guided Chakra Nidra meditation, and ceremonial bundle-making in a cozy location in Laguna Beach.
The evening will begin with a guided Chakra Nidra meditation led by Summer. This meditation will take you on a journey through the chakra centers, facilitating deep relaxation while staying aware. Following the meditation, Kat will lead a cacao ceremony. Summer and Kat will then guide you through an intentional seasonal bundle-making project you can take home and use throughout the winter season.
About Cacao Ceremony: We will drop in with an elixir of ceremonial drinking cacao and warming spices. Cacao is a beautiful plant rooted in South and Central American traditions. Kat will guide you into your heart space through intentional connection with this ancient plant spirit. The soft energy of cacao opens a portal of community and self-connection.
About Bundle Making: The Bundle Making process is inspired by traditional Andean ritual as well as personal rituals of honoring the Earth, the season, and our innermost realms. Solstice points are Sacred Gateways and Threshold moments. As such, the solstice offers a unique moment to pause and find the Light within as well as to get clear on your visions for the next turn of the seasonal wheel. Setting intentions for the transitions facilitates new pathways for transformation. Creating your unique bundle of treasures to put on your altar or a special place in your home allows you to stay present in the intentions you set. We will offer guidance on working with your creation beyond our time together.
