It’s been a while since last we blogged and I thought I’d fill you all in on developments with The SOUL Project.
We’ve been in full-on-get-it-done mode since the Battle of The Paddle event at Doheny in late September. We did the official “unofficial” tee shirt for the event and had a blast connecting with old friends and new friends. We also raised $354 for the Doheny State beach Interpretive Center–big thanks to everyone who bought a shirt and made that possible.
From there it was on to Sacred Craft where we debuted our entire launch line and sold the official event tee shirt as part of our Quivers Lounge sponsorship program. We raised over $200 for the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy and hosted a killer dinner at Zenbu on Saturday night for friends and family. Fun time!
As soon as we were done with Sacred Craft it was on to getting the rest of our launch line finished up at Sundance Graphics in San Juan Capistrano. Huge thanks to Brandon, Matt, Tim, John, Martha and the crew at Sundance for making us look really good.
With that done it was time to make sales calls and first up was SEED People’s Market in Costa Mesa. We had our first meeting on 10.12 and by 10.19 we had our rack built and a great run of product available for purchase at a perfect venue for our brand.
Laguna Surf and Sport also placed their SECOND order and we’ve got some great Laguna Soul items available there, including SLi’s Laguna Soul and the Chovie Six Pack.
Now we are in Hawaii on a R&D mission to assess the potential of this market and connect with some old friends.
When we get back on 11.1 it will be on to phase 2 and some very exciting opportunities that have presented themselves over the past few days.
Thanks for your continued support and as always, please send us a comment or an idea to help us make this the very best it possibly can be.
Aloha
